At Chapel Lodge we specialize specifically in the rescue, retraining and re-homing of standardbreds off the track in South Australia. Working closely within the Harness Racing industry and participants

Chapel Lodge is the option for trainers wanting their retired horses retrained for the sole purpose of becoming a pleasure horse. Chapel Lodge is a registered Not for Profit Charity as of 2014.

We rely heavily on generous donations from the public. Donations are used to purchase feed , wormers and pay for any veterinary needs. Chapel Lodge are very lucky to have a fantastic team of volunteers who are dedicated to providing the best possible life After Racing for the Standardbred.

Chapel Lodge will also re educate outside Standardbred’s however bookings are essential.
